The Sidewall Cutter machine picks up whole tyres, cuts the sidewalls using a tool steel grade cutting blade, and drops the cut tyre back on the ground. Two sidewalls and one tread portion are left after this operation.

The main advantage of cutting the tyre sidewalls is that it allows for additional tyre processing: with the rubber bead properly isolated, shredding becomes considerably easier. This is due to the presence of a thick steel belt in the bead section, which causes excessive wear on most shredders. The tread piece can be easily shredded once the sidewall has been removed.

This machine is used to cut side wall of truck and bus tyres.This machine is able to cut a Radial Tyre i.e. Truck tyres, Car tyres into three pieces
